The Requirements Of Dance Competitions Ohio

By Lisa Hill

The number of dancers is normally high thus the usually attend contests in which they win prizes in monetary values. However, several rules have been set by different states, and they normally differ from state to state. The dance competitions Ohio requires the trainers to observe these set rules at all times, and if they fail to observe them, they may be disqualified from the contention. It is, therefore, necessary to make sure that the regulations are met at any one time.

Usually, the registration is done online thus the trainer has to ensure that they have created an online studio account through the website that is provided. Then, the trainer has to create a permanent roster by entering the data only once. The roaster has to capture the type of dancing and the ages of the dancers.

After the opening the online studio, the trainer must register his team and send all the paperwork that included a signature form the owners of the studio. More so, the paperwork has to include the insurance of property and also for the individuals along with a check showing payment for the studio. However, it must be noted there are no refunds for admission fees at any circumstance.

In case the registration of a team is late, it is usually charged an additional fee of ten dollars thus the trainer is advised to register his team as early as possible. After the registration is successful, the teacher will receive all important notifications through the email as well as schedules for upcoming contests. To add on that, the studios are allowed to change any information about participants.

If the studio does not meet the deadline, the team can be disqualified from the contest. At this point, no amends are allowed, and no entries are done via the fax, phone or email. This means, if one is not careful, you may end up losing the chance to contest in the event.

Once you enter the event, you should know that the directors and facilitators will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur. So all the participants, students, parents, directors of studios or other spectators have to take care of themselves when at the event. To add on that, if they lose any property, the facilitators of the event will not be answerable.

If it chances that an act extends past the set time without earlier notification of the judges or without making payments for the extension, the team will be penalized by being deducted a point from their total points. More so, if they win any prize, any additional costs are deducted as well form their overall prize money.

Also, the soloists are allowed to perform up to 3 solos in regional competitions, but that does not mean that they will compete against themselves about age. Therefore, the whole crew has to be ready at all times and follow the rules set by the directors in the statutory competitions so that they can win the dancing contest.
