Seven Upcoming Artists And Bands Performing Live Music

By John Parker

In modern times, various establishments like hotels, concert halls, bars, and cafes allow a plethora of young new talent into their doors to provide great performances in front of local crowds. As a result of this, one of the highlights when visiting various places like Everett is checking out the local talent they have. This is not only a great way to spend your weekend, but introduces you to new music to listen to on all moods or occasions one goes through.

The great thing about visiting Everett is the fact that it contains a lot of establishments that offer great music from local artists and bands that are trying to get their music out there. As a result of this, you can enjoy a night filled with great music or bring your friends and loved ones with you to enjoy the night too. In line with this, discussed below are the seven rising musicians and artists that perform Everett live music.

The first addition to this list is Archy Marshall or better known by his stage persona namely Zoo Kid and later on changed to King Krule. Born on the twenty fourth of August in 1994, you would not expect the kind of clever lyricism and wisdom that Archy has to offer with his blues ridden tunes that have very strong ambient influences and references to famous blues musicians. Nonetheless, what truly sets him apart is his unique singing voice, which has captured the attention of many. As more years go by, only time will tell on how far he can go with his career.

Born and raised in London, Thomas Misch is the offspring of a psychiatrist and an artist, which meant that his upbringing helped him embrace a plethora of styles, music, and art. Because of this heavy influence in his upbringing, he began to sing and learn how to play various music instruments at an early age. Nowadays, he recently gave out his latest album called Geography and is now hailed one of the greatest British producers out there today.

Vincent Fenton is one of the leading young talents today, with numerous artists and musicians digging his groove and wanting to collaborate on some songs with him. Known to the world as French Kiwi Juice, FKJ is truly a sight to behold on his various live performances and even improvisational collaborative efforts with many artists. In fact, he is best known for mastering several musical instruments like the saxophone, guitar, bass, synthesizer, drums, and plenty more.

With his band Yellow Days, England native George van den Broek is one of the most promising upcoming musicians of this generation. Despite being only 18 years of age, George is unafraid and unapologetic in writing lyrics for his many songs that often deal with concepts of heart ache, depression, and the effects of anxiety. However, what truly separates him from the rest is his heart achingly beautiful singing voice that bespeaks experience and a sobriety to it that one would not expect an eighteen year old to possess.

Born as Mahalia Bukmar, this Birmingham lady has been featured in two films namely the Brotherhood and Diary of Me. Apart from having small roles in film, she has also ventured into songwriting and has produced and recorded a bunch of songs that are having extensive radio play. Through her breakthrough live performance in the Berlin based studio Colors, she has shown that she has much to offer in her signature 90s aesthetic.

While most known for dating a certain vampire in a teenage love romance flick, FKA Twigs is not a woman of few talents. Born as Tahliah Barnett in London, she moved away when she was only 17 to pursue a career in showbiz. Nowadays, she is a producer, dancer, director, singer, stylist, and songwriter all in one five foot package. She is notable for her genre bending music and unique sense of fashion and ideas that draws in inspiration from other artists like avant garde queen Bjork and trip hop pioneers Massive Attack.

Fatimah Warner is another young artist who is a rapper and a poet and is more commonly referred to by her stage name, Noname. Her career first began as a poet when she would regularly perform slam poetry in her hometown in Chicago before transitioning into rapping. She was given her first big live act with her collaboration with Chance the Rapper on Acid Rap and since then has paved the way for other young black women who are aspiring rappers and artists as well.
