How To Create Landscape Abstract Paintings

In some cases, artists paint from a perspective of reality. As such, most paint straightforward replicas when using a model. While this is the case, there are also those whom create Landscape Abstract Paintings. Most often, the latter is done by adding shapes, colors and under-painting to create a piece which leaves a great deal of interpretation to the viewer.

The content for abstract painters often comes from a model whether a landscape, individual or object. In creating this style of artwork, most prefer to use a combination oil, color mixing and acrylic. While abstract most often refers to paintings, there are a number of mixed-media and 3-D artists whom also use the term.

When it comes to these modern artists and painters, most find inspiration in various areas. Whether drawing from fiction, non-fiction, real life, objects or landscapes, the outcome is often a piece that makes viewers contemplate the meaning behind the piece.

One of the best painting classes in this genre is offered by Brian Ryder through YouTube. For, while some individuals can simply pick up a brush and start painting, others whom need direction. As such, the classes now offered by Mr. Ryder have been quite popular. For, the classes teach individuals how to create art using the best techniques.

For more experienced painters, advanced classes are often the best option. Whereas, those new to the process will most likely want to check out classes such as Beyond Realism which focuses on the attitudes, composition, methods, moods and attitudes which can be expressed in the genre. In one such course, students and teacher work side by side to create a painting of bright colored poppies which pop with bright colors and varied shapes.

The teacher also provides methods for students to learn how to use layers when it comes to creating the abstract shapes. After which, students are taught how to use complementary colors which will allow the shapes to become more visible. In addition, there are a number of training videos now available on YouTube and other video sites. When desiring to delve even deeper, those interested can also find a number of art classes online, including offerings from a number of universities on the Coursera and edX websites.

While this is the case, the Artists Network website also provides information on classes and a full length how-to video. In addition, students can view a number of reviews and testimonials in relation to network offerings. The site also includes examples to help individuals decide whether to create art with a wet-on-dry or wet-on-wet technique. After which, many go on to paint a number of original abstract paintings.

While classes can often be beneficial, most artists learn how to create bold shapes, sizes and colors over time. As such, while the painting of poppies often used in class may pop with color, it can also be good to use other shapes and sizes in the process. For, the more creative an artist can be whether with regards to a landscape, individual or object, the more attention the piece generally receives from buyers, galleries and museums.
