Visual Narrative Art Through The Years

Narrative art is an art that tells a story. It is either a sequence of events unfolding over time or an ongoing story. The earliest proof of human art suggest that individuals told stories with images. However, without knowledge of the story being told, it is difficult to read ancient pictures, since they are not well organized in a certain way such as word on a page, but rather unfold in different directions at a single time.

Stories are told with the use of many ocular images to create certain imaginations that would induce certain emotions and may capture aspirations and truths. Typically, the main thing about the visual narrative art is its ability to narrate certain stories in a diverse culture and keep on preserving them for the next generations.

There are numerous forms of narrative around the world. Among of the driving forms are pictures, either moving or still, articulated language, mixture of all substances and gestures, narrative is present in fables, legend, myth, short stories, history, epics, comedy, paintings, tragedy and a lot more.

Moreover, this form is always present, in different places and societies. It starts with a great history of mankind. An art always illustrate and tell stories. It also describes a certain event from daily lives. Of individuals from folk tales, myths and even texts.

For those who almost forgot what has been told is also matters at all when it comes in providing information of every story with a level of visual clutters. It would be easier for you to lose a particular visual detail that all started in distracting an aspect. There are also ways in order to approach a narrative in the images and there is no right or wrong with all the things to do.

Actually, it has also been of interest to the academic community as scholars, educators and thinkers. They have sought to understand the power and impact of images and history in many individuals and most societies. There are also some distinguishing characteristics of the visual narrative that includes a persuasive story with a certain point of view, subject matter with pressing environmental, social and spiritual value, an appeal for transportation in behaviors and attitudes and high quality of images.

Great storytellers come from a professions, form of arts and all walks of life. They are unique ones who function both artist and author, influencing and entertaining your imaginations through the creations of literature and arts. There are also some films that redefine and redirect history or tell the future. There are books that set imaginations in the palm of hands and ignite words and emotions.

Most of the narratives become an experience and moment that could never be forgotten over time. This would be cherished forever. These work of time have survived the test of a lifetime, becomes a great part of the history and cultural identities.

In all form of fine arts, advertising, game designs, graphic novels, Picture books, animation and illustration, there would be always a growing demand for original and talented content creators. So, regardless of the medium and style, to able anyone to become responsible of visual storytelling and be able to shape their own artistic voices, and identities.
